Pleasant Hill, Mo (Aug. 29, 2025) – The Lady Tiger golf team hit the links for the first time in the Raymore-Peculiar Scramble, with a pair of teams taking on the field on Friday, August 29. The Panthers hosted players from 26 different schools at Hoot’s Hollow Golf Course at the Country Creek Golf Club. Coach David Stalder put together two teams to take on the field of 52 on the par 72 course. “The course was in great shape with wide, flat fairways, but a relatively long course for girls to play,” Stalder said. Senior Gaby Scrivener teamed up with freshman Allison Deere to shoot a score of 89 to finish the tournament in 22nd place. Senior Ellie Lynn and junior teammate Ella Edwards played together on the day, shooting a 104 as a pair. “Scrivener and Deere played well for much of the day, just missing a few putts we believe they will be able to make much of the season,” Stalder said. The winning team of Chloe Johnston and Kourtney Bowmen of Liberty led the field by shooting a 5 under par 67. Liberty tied with St. Michael the Archangel’s top two teams for the team title by combining for a score of 142.
