Council Approves Key Budget Amendments, Tackles Tax Rates and Pay Adjustments in Special Session

The Excelsior Springs City Council held a special meeting Friday morning, September 27, to address a range of issues, including updates to property tax rates, approval of a budget amendment to tackle recruitment challenges, and the purchase of new vehicles for the Community Development Department. Community Collaboration Revives Siloam Spring Park in Downtown Excelsior Springs

Siloam Spring Park, a neglected corner of downtown, has been given a new lease on life thanks to a joint effort between the city’s parks department, school district, and the McElwee family.
