The Excelsior Springs cross country teams kicked off the 2025 season on Saturday, August 30, at the Tom Nixon Invitational in Liberty. Competing against more than 35 schools across all Missouri classes, the Tigers and Lady Tigers turned in strong efforts in both the two-mile and 5,000-meter races, setting an early foundation for the season ahead.
