Busy Week on the Greens for Lady Tiger Golfers

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo., Sept. 25, 2025 — The Lady Tiger golfers had a busy week of golf with trips hosted by Platte County and Chillicothe on Sept. 22 and 25.

The Lady Pirate Invitational took place at Shiloh Springs Golf Club in Platte City, with eleven schools hitting the golf course. Senior Gabby Scrivener led the way for the Lady Tigers by shooting a 103 on the day. She was able to par hole number five but fell short of another par the rest of the day. Junior Reaghan Lawrence was the second Lady Tiger golfer on the score sheet, shooting a 121 on the day. Senior Ellie Lynn and freshman Allison Deere each shot a 130.

Makenna Kincheloe of Park Hill took home the individual championship at Shiloh Springs with an 18-hole round of one-over-par 73. The Park Hill Trojans took home the team championship by shooting a combined score of 355. The Kearney Bulldogs were second, shooting a 359, and the Liberty Blue Jays finished third with a score of 389. The Lady Tigers’ score of 484 put them in ninth place.

The 2025 Chillicothe Invitational featured 18 schools playing at Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe. Scrivener was 13 strokes better than the previous tournament, shooting a 90 on the day. Her day included a birdie on the tenth hole and pars on holes two, six, and eleven. Lawrence was the second Lady Tiger golfer once again, shooting a 128, including a par on hole eight. Junior Ella Edwards shot a 131, with Deere shooting a 138.

Mia Rowland of Stover High School won the tournament with an even round of 72. The South Harrison Bulldogs took the team crown with an overall score of 383, with the Maryville Spoofhounds finishing second with a 387, and the host Hornets finishing in third with a 393. The 487 shot by the Lady Tigers put them in 12th place in the team scores for the tournament.
