The Excelsior Springs School Board meeting on January 9, 2024, was conducted via Zoom due to severe winter weather. The agenda included adopting the consent agenda, approving financial reports, and addressing resignations and substitute list revisions. Key discussions revolved around the Lewis Elementary construction progress, with updates from iDS and Newkirk Novak Construction Partners. Career Center updates and program approvals were also presented. A few presentations were postponed to the February meeting. The next regular board meeting is scheduled for February 13th.
