Excelsior Springs, Mo. (Dec. 13, 2024) — According to a bulletin released by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), drivers traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 69 between Interstate 35 and Excelsior Springs should plan for potential delays next week as MoDOT conducts pavement repair work. The roadwork is expected to result in intermittent lane closures starting Monday, Dec. 16, through Friday, Dec. 20.
Crews will be working daily from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., during which time one or more lanes may be closed to accommodate the repairs. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the work zone and plan extra travel time to account for potential slowdowns.
This project is part of MoDOT’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the quality of the state’s roadways. Regular updates on road conditions and closures can be found on MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map or by calling 1-888-ASK-MODOT.
