City of Excelsior Springs Listening Post – Dangerous Dogs Ordinance at 6pm at the Excelsior Springs Community Center
The subject is to consider pros & cons of Pit Bull Ban or is the City’s Dangerous Dog Ordinance enough. Invited panelists include Attorney Katie Barnett, Veterinarian Pete Rucker, Jessica Steele, KC Pet Project, Police Chief Greg Dull, & Resident Angela Argit. City Council has completed first reading of an ordinance that would eliminate specific breed ban & leave dangerous dog ordinance intact. We are inviting a respectful exchange of ideas. Our goal is to gain a broad perspective & learn from the views of others.
