Joining in the celebrations, the Excelsior Springs school district announced it will observe a ‘Red AMI Virtual Learning Day’ on February 15, 2023, in honor of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory. The district said having a virtual day will enable students to participate in the parade and celebrations at their convenience while also completing virtual coursework. The use of a virtual learning day will also eliminate the need to make up the missed day at the end of the year. All school buildings will be closed, and the Rockin’ Tiger Club will not operate.
