Tiger Bowl Rolls Out Fall Bowling Leagues

As the fall approaches, bowling enthusiasts in Excelsior Springs are gearing up for an exciting lineup of leagues at the beloved Tiger Bowl located in the Y Shopping Center, 1729 W Jesse James Rd. The season kicks off shortly after Labor Day, promising competitive fun for bowlers of all ages and skill levels.

For those in the senior category, the Senior Leagues present a perfect opportunity to socialize and compete. Participants aged 50 and above can join the camaraderie on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. in 3-person mixed-gender teams starting September 5th. On Thursdays starting September 7th, the excitement continues with 4-person mixed-gender teams taking to the lanes at 1 p.m.

The youthful energy takes center stage as Youth Leagues start on September 9th, every Saturday at 11 a.m. For ages 5-8, the two-game matches with bumpers offer a great introduction to the sport at $6.00 per week. Meanwhile, ages 9-17 can engage in thrilling 3-game contests for $10.00 per week.

Launching on September 12th, the Sport/Challenge Mixed Doubles league on Tuesdays brings an extra layer of competition. With practice starting at 6:30 p.m. followed by matches at 6:40 p.m., participants can look forward to 14 weeks of exhilarating matches at $13.00 per week.

In a unique blend of generations, the Youth/Adult league starts on September 17th, Sundays at 5:45 p.m. This 12-week league provides an excellent opportunity for family bonding and friendly rivalries, priced at $12.00 per person per week.

For those who thrive in mixed company, the Mixed Leagues offer a variety of exciting options. Every Thursday, the Mixer league starts at 6:30 p.m., inviting teams of four with any combination to showcase their skills (price to be determined). The Sunday Best league on September 10th, at 6 p.m., offers a shorter season at $17.00 per person per week. Additionally, the Fri. 9-pin league starting on September 15th at 6:45 p.m. promises fast-paced fun at $17.00 per week.

Gentlemen looking for some competitive action can join the Men’s Leagues. The Sundown Men league starts on September 11th, every Monday at 6:45 p.m., and the King Pinz league, with a split season, commences on September 13th, Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Both leagues offer a chance to showcase bowling prowess at $20.00 per week.
