Thrive Excelsior’s May Curb Appeal Winners Embody Neighborhood Pride

Excelsior Springs, MO – Mark and Tammy Whitmire of 4 Todd St. have been awarded the prestigious Thrive Excelsior Curb Appeal Award for the month of May, 2023. Their dedication to maintaining their home and property has set an inspiring example for the entire community.

On Wednesday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m., the Bill Hightower Real Estate Team proudly presented the Whitmires with a well-deserved gift card, acknowledging their exceptional efforts in enhancing the curb appeal of their residence. The award, sponsored this month by the Bill Hightower Team, not only recognizes the winners but also emphasizes the importance of maintaining beautiful homes and neighborhoods.

The Curb Appeal Award, presented by the Thrive Excelsior Housing Task Force, celebrates residents who go above and beyond to ensure the upkeep and visual appeal of their properties. Each month, community members are invited to nominate their neighbors for this prestigious recognition, with nominations closing on the 25th of each month. The award carries with it a prize and a special shout-out on social media, shining a spotlight on the remarkable efforts of the winners.

Mark and Tammy Whitmire’s nomination stood out among the many entries, showcasing their unwavering commitment to maintaining their home and property. From their immaculately manicured lawn to their well-maintained exterior elements, the Whitmires have created an inviting and visually appealing residence that enhances the beauty of their neighborhood.

Laura Mize, the Neighborhood Specialist for the City of Excelsior Springs, expressed her delight in recognizing the Whitmires as this month’s Curb Appeal Award winners. “Mark and Tammy have truly gone above and beyond in maintaining their home,” she shared. “Their dedication to creating a beautiful environment serves as an inspiration to us all.”
