Thrive Excelsior Opens Applications for Daytime Citizens Leadership Academy

Thrive Excelsior Citizens Leadership Academy

Excelsior Springs residents eager to develop their leadership skills and gain a deeper understanding of community development now have a unique opportunity to participate in the Thrive Excelsior Citizens Leadership Academy—with a new daytime schedule.

For those unable to attend evening sessions, Thrive Excelsior is offering a daytime cohort this spring, with classes held Tuesdays at 12:00pm from March 4 through May 13 (excluding March 25). Applications are open now, with a deadline of February 19.

This seven-session program is designed to immerse participants in the key aspects of community growth, including health, economic development, education, and public works. Through a combination of interactive field trips and expert-led learning sessions, attendees will gain firsthand insight into the workings of Excelsior Springs.

The Citizens Leadership Academy is free of charge but has limited space, so interested participants are encouraged to apply promptly. This initiative provides a valuable networking opportunity for both new and seasoned leaders, offering a chance to connect with like-minded individuals while positively impacting the community’s future.
