Good news Excelsior Springs shoppers, there’s a great new spot for gifts just in time for the holiday season! The grand opening of Solana was packed with shoppers and well-wishers, all there to see the variety of classy home furnishings and tasteful decor. Owner Savanna Nave prides herself on providing what she calls “bougie on a budget,” that is, high-end products at a pocket-book-friendly price. But Solana is more than just a boutique, it’s a three-in-one boutique, event space, and vacation rental.

The event space is cozy and perfect for bridal, baby showers, or anything you dream of. With an area for food presentation, a dressing room, and the aforementioned beautiful decor, Solana is sure to be a hit with those looking for an intimate space for hosting. For the grand opening, Savanna brought in some guests to provide treats including Fluff-It Cotton Candy, cupcakes by Lil Reds Bakery, and adult beverages from Fizzolino.

The upstairs of Solana has been transformed into a 5-bedroom vacation rental. High ceilings, wood floors, laundry, and kitchen give visitors everything they might need for a fun and relaxing stay in Excelsior Springs. Situated directly across the street from the historic Hall of Waters on Broadway Ave the vacation space also offers a perfect spot for watching parades or just enjoying the view of downtown.

Nave says she feels a key to success will be maintaining consistent hours of operation and she’s coordinated with her business neighbors to optimize the hours she’s open. Currently, Solana is open Tuesday 11-5, Wednesday 11-5, Thursday 11-5, Friday 11-6, Saturday 11-5, and Sunday 11-2 (closed Mondays). Stop by and check out the new business and show Savanna your support or visit her Facebook Page for more info.
