Shamrock Hills Vineyard and Winery, in collaboration with Itchin’ 2 Go Travel, is inviting the community to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to Ireland from May 21st to June 3rd, 2025. Those interested in learning more about the trip can attend an informational session on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. at One Step at a Time Ballroom Dance, 423 S Thompson Ave, in downtown Excelsior Springs.
The event promises an afternoon filled with excitement, including an introduction to the upcoming custom Ireland tour. Attendees will enjoy local wines from Shamrock Hills Vineyard and Winery, as well as Irish beer and whiskey. Guests will also experience a lively Irish jig lesson, guided by choreographer Jeri Mickel and Anna Sue Spohn of Itchin’ 2 Go Travel. Light refreshments will be available as participants mingle with fellow travelers and learn more about this incredible journey.
The 14-day itinerary for the Custom Ireland Tour offers a mix of iconic sightseeing and luxurious experiences. The group will tour the famous Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, visit the Old Midleton Distillery in Cork for a whiskey-tasting experience, and explore the historic Blarney Castle. Travelers will also enjoy a horse-drawn car ride through Killarney National Park and a scenic drive around the Ring of Kerry. In Galway, they’ll take a guided walking tour of the city before embarking on a Connemara Seacruise. The tour promises luxury transportation, meet-and-greet service, daily breakfasts, gourmet dinners, and premium accommodations.
