Janet Bowling

Janet L. Bowling (Neal) of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on February 11, 2025. Born to John and Lavona Neal on February 23, 1951, Janet graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1969. She made her home in Chandler, Arizona, 36 years ago, where she built a life filled with love, family, and cherished friendships.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lavona Neal, and her brother, John M. Neal. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Donald K. (Butch) Bowling, of Chandler, AZ. Janet is also survived by her siblings, Marsha Smith (Bob) of Kansas City, MO, Carol Dooley (Dennis) of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Eddie Neal (Kathy) of Grain Valley, MO, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was especially close to her god-daughter, Monique Noel of Surprise, AZ.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Caissa Assisted Living and Shanti Hospice for the compassionate care they provided during Janet’s final days. They would also like to thank all those who have offered condolences, love, and support throughout this difficult time.

Janet will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
