Swope Health has announced a special event, the Swope Health KidsCare Clinic, a dental clinic dedicated to serving the younger members of our community and pregnant individuals. Set to welcome guests on Monday, February 19th, the clinic is located at the Early Childhood Center at 500 N. Jesse James Road, Excelsior Springs, offering easy access to the community it aims to serve.
With a strong commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of children and expectant mothers, the clinic will provide dental check-ups at no cost for Home State Health and Show Me Healthy Kids members. As an extra incentive, pregnant attendees will be gifted a diaper bag, and children will receive a goody bag.
Understanding the importance of health coverage, the clinic advises all attendees to bring their insurance cards to their appointments. However, recognizing the diverse needs of its community, the clinic has made provisions for those who require additional information or assistance, inviting them to reach out via a dedicated phone line (816)321-3241.
For eligible Home State Health and Show Me Healthy Kids members who might face transportation challenges, the clinic has arranged for supportive services, ensuring that logistic barriers do not hinder access to dental care. This initiative is an example of the clinic’s holistic approach to healthcare, acknowledging and addressing the socioeconomic factors that often impact health access.
Spaces are limited, and the community is encouraged to make appointments today to take advantage of this opportunity. This clinic helps bridge the disparities and fosters a healthier future for the younger population and expectant mothers in the Excelsior Springs area.
