GO Car Wash Makes a Splash with Grand Opening

GO Car Wash made quite the “splash” in Excelsior Springs, marked by a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, conducted by the Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce, of which GO Car Wash is now a proud member, was more than just a formal affair. It was a community celebration replete with refreshments and complimentary car washes for all attendees.

Kent Shelton, the Branch Manager of the new location, was brimming with enthusiasm. “What sets us apart from our competitors is our values, our commitment to the customer,” he said. “It’s all about how you take care of them, how you treat your customers, and how clean you keep your site.”

Shelton has deep roots in Excelsior Springs, making the opening particularly meaningful for him. “My family is actually from Excelsior; my grandma lives here, my dad lived here before he passed away. I love this community and I’m happy to be here,” he shared. This sense of community extends to the company’s hiring plans, as Shelton aims to employ local high school students for their first jobs, providing them with the structure and values they need for future employment. “We aim to get them started with some money in their pocket and a good reference for their next job,” he added.

Career growth opportunities within the company are also promising. “Some of our managers started at the bottom, washing cars, selling plans, and talking to customers, and worked their way up into management,” Shelton explained. Alexis Rodriguez, the Grand Opening Technician, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the company’s commitment to quality and technology. “We want to bring the best of the best. We aim to be the most admired Car Wash,” Rodriguez said.

Community involvement is another cornerstone of GO Car Wash’s philosophy. “The community is what drives us,” Rodriguez stated. “We want to sponsor and be a part of anything from little league teams to community festivals.”

The choice of Excelsior Springs for the new location was deliberate, driven by the city’s sense of growth and vibrancy. “It’s a growing, vibrant city. We’re ready to move in and grow with you guys,” Rodriguez explained. As the event concluded, it became clear that GO Car Wash aims to be more than just a car wash service; it aspires to be an active member of the Excelsior Springs community.

The grand opening signifies not only the introduction of a new business to the area but also the potential for a long-term relationship with local residents.
