
On November 8, 2022 Excelsior Springs will head to the polls to vote on a series of candidates, constitutional amendments, and Proposition A. Due to redistricting, the Clay County Election Board alerts voters that their precinct, polling location, and representative may have changed. All registered voters should have received a new Voter ID card in the mail. Those list your precinct, polling location, and districts for your registered address. Here is a list of important dates for voters to keep in mind:
- Last Day to Register to Vote: October 12, 2022
- Last Day for Write-In Candidates to file: October 28, 2022
- Absentee Applications mailed to permanently disabled: September 6, 2022
- In Person Absentee Voting at Clay County Election Board: September 27-November 4, 2022 M-F 8am-5pm, Saturdays: October 29 and November 5, 9am-1pm
- Absentee voting at the Clay County Annex (1901 NE 48th St.): October 24-November 4, 2022, M-F 8am-5pm, Saturdays: October 24-November 4, 2022, M-F 8am-5pm, Saturdays: October 29 and November 5, 9am-1pm
- NO EXCUSE, IN PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING BEGINS: October 25, 2022 at both the Election Board office and Clay County Annex.
- Last Day to vote Absentee in Person: November 7, 2022 8am-5pm (Clay County Election Board Office ONLY)
- Last Day to request Absentee ballot by mail: October 26, 2022
