We had another beautiful evening this past Wednesday at the Excelsior Springs Farmer’s Market. Our market was graced with the presence of two incredible food trucks, Hero’s New York Grill and Nonnie’s Shaved Ice. From savory delights to sweet treats, there was something for everyone to savor. And the best news? Nonnie’s Shaved Ice will be back next week, joined by Twisted Taters. Be sure to plan your next dinner outing at our market on Wednesday!
Our vendors never cease to amaze. From fresh, local produce to oven-fresh bread and jars of golden honey, our market has a diverse variety of offerings. There’s something inherently satisfying about knowing where your food comes from, and our vendors bring this authenticity to every visit.
At the Excelsior Springs Farmer’s Market, we aim to make your shopping experience as seamless as possible. That’s why we accept all forms of payment, including credit/debit cards and SNAP/EBT. Plus, we’re thrilled to participate in the Double Up Food Bucks program. Stretch your SNAP dollars further by receiving a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $25 weekly. It’s a win-win that supports both your budget and our local farmers.
Be sure to mark your calendars for a thrilling event on October 25th. Our Fall Harvest/Halloween Celebration promises to be an unforgettable evening. We’ve planned a host of activities to delight the little ones, including a kids’ costume contest judged by our vendors, a scavenger hunt, a magical performance by A Yellow Box of Magic, bounce houses from Bubba Jump Inflatables, tattoos, crafts, pumpkin decorating, and exciting contests with fantastic prizes.
To ensure our Fall Harvest/Halloween Celebration is extra sweet, we’re kindly asking for donations of unopened bags of wrapped candy. You can drop off your contributions at the Market, the Chamber of Commerce, or The Community Bank of Missouri. Your generosity will light up the faces of our little ghosts and goblins.
Believe it or not, we have just four more weeks left in our market season. So, be sure to mark your calendar and join us every Wednesday evening from 4-7 pm at the corner of Mill St and Broadway, right across from the Good Samaritan Center.
