The essence of Fall was in the air at this week’s market, reflected in the abundance of seasonal offerings like pumpkins, gourds, mums, and an array of pumpkin-scented and flavored items. Several vendors added a festive touch with their Halloween-themed items, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The splendid weather enhanced the experience, and we are grateful to all who stopped by.
Remember, the market is SNAP/EBT friendly and participates in the Double Up Food Bucks program. Short on cash? Most vendors accept electronic payments, and for those who don’t, market bucks are available through the market booth ($1 fee).
Excitement is brewing for our upcoming Fall Harvest/Halloween Celebration on October 25th. This festive event will feature Vend-Or-Treat, a kids costume contest, a scavenger hunt, and a magic show, among other activities. To support this celebration, we are accepting donations of prizes and unopened bags of unwrapped candy at the market, the Chamber of Commerce, or the Community Bank of Missouri until October 18th.
Engage with us on Facebook and help us reach 1,000 followers! Upon achieving this milestone, we will do another drawing for market bucks. Nonnie’s Shaved Ice continues to be a delightful presence and will join us every week for the rest of the season!
This week, we are excited to introduce a new food truck, Hero’s New York Grill, offering burgers, paninis, and hot dogs imbued with New York flair. Join us Wednesday and let Hero’s New York Grill take care of your dinner while you enjoy autumn at the market!
