By Tammy Murphy, Excelsior Springs Farmers Market Director
Wednesday evening at the Excelsior Springs Farmer’s Market was yet another beautiful affair, and food truck Tacoish returned to satisfy everyone’s culinary cravings. For those with a sweet tooth, Nonnie’s Shaved Ice was back to offer a refreshing, sugary delight! They will be at next week’s market, too!
We had the pleasure of welcoming three new vendors this week. Coco Street Fudge joined us with a range of scrumptious fudges that had shoppers buzzing with delight. A young entrepreneur graced the market with her beautifully crafted bracelets and earrings. The Hunter Family Farm also came aboard, adding their unique items to our growing roster of vendors.
On a bittersweet note, we bid farewell to Run A Muck Homestead, who will no longer be participating in the market. We thank them for their contributions and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
As we look forward to next Wednesday, we’re excited to bring back our regular vendors who offer a variety of fresh produce, honey, handmade items, baked goods, and more. Keep in mind that we’re nearing the end of the season, with just six weeks left to enjoy all the local goodness.
Please consider helping them improve the market for next year by giving your feedback on this year’s event by clicking here.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our Fall Harvest & Celebration on October 25th. More details will be coming soon, so stay tuned! We invite everyone to come down next week and continue to support our wonderful local producers. See you then!
