Wednesday, as the sun dipped and cast its golden hue, we welcomed locals and visitors alike to another splendid evening at the Excelsior Springs Farmer’s Market.
The busy booths were a testament to the diverse and delightful offerings our vendors had on display. From fresh produce to handmade goods, there was something for every taste and preference. For those looking for a treat, the tempting twists of Twisted Taters and the refreshing coolness of Nonnie’s Shaved Ice were there to satisfy cravings.
Always aiming to enhance your market experience, we introduced a unique feature – take-home recipes. These recipes were curated with ingredients predominantly available at the market, ensuring that citizens could recreate the flavors in their kitchens. If you missed it, fret not; these recipes will be back by popular demand next week. Just swing by the market booth and pick one up!
Speaking of tantalizing tastes, we’re thrilled to announce that next week’s foodie highlight will be the Weenies & Paninis food truck. So, whether you’re planning a quiet dinner or a picnic, we’ve got your meal sorted.
Our community of vendors is ever-evolving, with new faces and booths making their debut each week. Don’t miss out on these novel offerings; you never know what gem you might stumble upon.
For our regulars and first-timers, we have a humble request. To ensure we’re tailoring the market experience to your preferences, we’ve rolled out a customer survey. Click here, check out our Facebook page for the link, or simply scan the QR code at our market booth.
But the buzz doesn’t end here. As October wanes, we’re gearing up for our grand Fall Harvest/Halloween celebration on October 25th! Expect a plethora of activities – from Vend-Or-Treat, a kids costume contest, to a scavenger hunt and an enchanting magic show. We’ve also heard whispers of some new vendors joining us for this special event. To ensure the festivity knows no bounds, we’re accepting donations of unopened bags of wrapped candy at the market, Chamber of Commerce, and Community Bank of Missouri.
With only three markets left this season, the anticipation is palpable. Clear your calendars, gather your friends and family, and make memories with us at the Excelsior Springs Farmer’s Market!
