HOLT, Mo. — A fatal car crash in the early hours of Friday morning has sparked an investigation by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, according to a statement from Public Relations Manager Sarah Boyd.

At approximately 8 a.m. on February 23, deputies were dispatched to a scene on NE 192nd Street near Outer Road W, southeast of Holt, following reports of a vehicular accident. Upon arrival, they discovered a 2013 Toyota Camry off the road, overturned, and engulfed in flames.
