Farmer’s State Bank Celebrates Grand Opening in Excelsior Springs with Community Spirit

Excelsior Springs, MO – It was a day of celebration and community spirit in Excelsior Springs as Farmer’s State Bank officially opened its doors as a full-service branch. The grand opening attracted a large crowd, eager to explore the services and support their local economy. With food catered by local favorite Willow Spring Mercantile and the excitement of a Kansas City Chiefs jersey autographed by Travis Kelce given away, the event was nothing short of a community festival.

Connie Waltman and Anita Filardo, representing Farmer’s State Bank, shared their enthusiasm about serving the Excelsior Springs community. “We are excited to serve the community, make lots of friends, and build relationships,” Waltman expressed. The new branch promises to offer a full range of banking services tailored to meet the diverse needs of its customers.

The opening of this branch is a relief to many residents who previously had to travel long distances for banking services. “It’s a mixture of both,” Filardo noted, regarding whether the branch aims to serve existing customers or attract new ones. “We’ve got a lot of customers living closer to Excelsior Springs. They’ll be coming here, but we’re all about welcoming new customers too.”

Farmer’s State Bank prides itself on its customer-centric approach, emphasizing personalized service. “Here, you’re not another number. You become family with us,” Waltman added, highlighting the bank’s commitment to creating a welcoming environment for everyone.

The bank introduces several customer-friendly services, including no initial deposit required to open most accounts, mobile banking, ATM services, and the opportunity to earn extra money on checking accounts. “We want to offer our customers services that make banking with us not just convenient but also rewarding,” Filardo explained.

The community’s response to the new branch has been overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the convenience and accessibility it brings to the area. “We’ve seen people come in happy to see they don’t have to travel far for banking services anymore,” Waltman shared.

As Farmer’s State Bank opens its doors in Excelsior Springs, it brings more than just banking services; it brings a commitment to community, connection, and personalized service. “We welcome everyone to come in and see what we’re all about. We’re excited to be here,” Filardo warmly invited the community.
