Excelsior Springs, MO – The Excelsior Springs community is preparing to come together for the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, set for Thursday, May 2nd, at 7:00 a.m. at The Elms Hotel. Hosted by Mayor Mark Spohn and Mike Boudreaux, President of the Excelsior Springs Christian Ministerial Alliance, this event is meant to foster unity and positivity throughout Excelsior Springs. With a promising lineup, the breakfast is expected to be an inspirational gathering.
Attendees can look forward to a hearty breakfast followed by an inspiring program. The Job Corp NROTC will present the Colors, and the Excelsior Springs High School Choir, led by Tim Harlan, will perform the national anthem, along with another inspirational song, to start the event on a high note. The morning will also include prayers for the city, state, and nation, focusing on public officials, city workers, and the education sector.
