School and City officials will hold a Groundbreaking Ceremony at 11:00am tomorrow at the site at 501 Leavenworth St.

Ice Cream Social – 6:30pm
Join the Manley Home Team of Re/Max Area Real Estate who will be hosting an Ice Cream Social at 206 Estancia in The Vintage from 6:30pm-8:30pm. They will have Tasty Unicorn there giving away free ice cream to the first 50 guests! After that, it’s $5 each.

Teachers and staff are eager to see all of the students returning to class this Wednesday! They’ve been working hard to get their classrooms and lesson plans ready. Watch for traffic to become congested at times and watch for our youth who walk to school.

Excelsior Springs has become a destination for wine lovers! The weekends are the perfect time to check out all there is to offer, and that’s a lot! Find wine tastings, wine trolley tours, live music, wine cave tours, and more! Altered Trend Tanning and Boutique Grand Opening
Join Altered Trend as they have expanded their business from Lawson to have an Excelsior Springs option, too! They are already open (so go get your tan on!) but will have Grand Opening packages and other prizes available on Saturday from 11am-4pm at 1224 Jesse James Rd. (old Greystone Cleaners).
Holistic Springs Herb Co.’s Kids as Vendors Event
New to the block, Holistic Springs Herb Co. is jumping right in and offering an opportunity for the youth in the community to come and sell some goods! Encouraging entrepreneurship, they hope everyone can come by the market on Saturday from 11am-1pm at 1500 Kearney Rd (old Kex Rx building).
Excelsior Springs and Lawson’s Rotary Grocery Grab
Rotary invites everyone to watch as one lucky participant gets the chance to run Price Chopper for 5 minutes, filling their cart, to take it all home! This fast and fun event takes place at 9:00am and is literally over in 5 minutes!
First Harvest Picking at Four Horses and a Dog
Shamrock Hills Vineyard and Winery will be having their first picking party of the harvest season at Four Horses and a Dog Vineyards. Immediately following, those pickers will be treated to a meal served with wine/beer/sodas at the beautiful Shamrock Hills Vineyard and Winery. Pickers must sign up to help! Click here!
A Night Out at the Mouse Races – Rose Blossom Hill
The Excelsior Springs Football Association is hosting their first ever mouse race competition at 6pm! Tickets to enter are $20 and will include a meal. Learn more about this fun event by clicking here!
ESHS Athletic Hall of Fame
The 2023 Hall of Fame is recognizing inductees at the ESHS Football Game on Friday, Aug 25th and then will be inducted with a ceremony in the ESHS Performing Arts Center on Saturday, August 26 at 4:00pm.
