Excelsior Businesses Announce Re-Opening Plans

I’ve compiled a list of re-opening plans for Excelsior Springs businesses for this coming week (in alphabetical order to help). If I’m missing your announcement, please message and let me know so it can be added!

Ambiance Salon – opening May 16th

And Hair We Are – opening Monday, May 4th

Anytime Fitness – opens Monday, May 4th at 10am

Applebee’s – open Monday, May 4th from 11am-10pm

Boopy Locks – reopening Monday, May 4th; appointments only; no walk-ins; sanitation between and during clients; masks for clients and ourselves as well as hand washing.

Broadway Toyz – continuing curbside pick up; message and we will meet you

Candyman – (Lawson) opened this weekend

CK Hair Salon – salon is open, no walk ins, one person at a time, masks need to be worn.

Crown Affordable – in office by appointment only

Cyber Center – opening Monday and through the week from 12pm to 5pm

Dari-B – reopening May 15th

Debbie’s Family Restaurant – reopen Tuesday, May 5th, at 7am with spaced seating and limits on the amount of people inside at a time

Elms Hotel  – reopening May 15th

ES Community Center – no date has been set for reopening yet

ES License Bureau – opening Monday, May 4th; Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm, 9am-12pm first and last Saturday of the month

ES Parks and Rec – all tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, Century Bark (dog park), Regent Skate Park reopens Monday, May 4th; the following will remain closed: all playground structures, Piburn Ballfield, all restroom facilities, all shelter rentals, Senior Center

Excelsior’s House of Hair – opening Monday, May 4th; by appointment only, no walk-ins; masks must be worn by client, as well as myself; everyone will be asked a series of questions; everyone must wash hands upon arrival and when leaving; reserve right to reschedule, if necessary; expect delays for sanitization between appointments

Finder’s Keepers – open Monday, May 4th

Flea Market (across from Dari-B) – reopening Monday, May 4th

Good Samaritan Center – continue curbside service of pantry boxes throughout May. Distribution is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am-2pm

Knit Ewe Together (114 E Broadway) open Monday-Saturday from 11am-5:30pm, then back to normal hours; hand cleaner at door; knitewetogether.com

Mid-Continent Public Library – no date has been set for reopening yet

Missouri Highway Patrol Driving Test – Test, written or field, will not be open the month of May

Molly Roberts Studio – opening Monday, May 4th through Saturday from 10am-5pm. Will go back to regular hours following week of Wed-Sat from 10am-5pm; 8 customer limit in store; must wear mask; keep social distance; mollyrobertsstudio.com

Mugg’s Diner – reopens Monday, May 4th at 7am with new summer hours, open until 9pm

Nirvana Bodywork and Wellness – by appointment only

Opportunity Cafe and Coffee – open from 11am-2pm Monday and Tuesday; 8am-2pm Wednesday-Saturday. Opening lobby with new Clay County guidelines; will do call-ins and will be continuing curbside orders.

Owen Lumber – reopen on Saturday’s, starting next Saturday, May 9th from 8am-12pm

Ray’s Lunch – Open Thursday-Saturday from 6am-2pm with daily breakfast and lunch specials; carry out only; eatatrays.com

Roberts Robinson Chevrolet Buick GMC – opening showroom and customer waiting rooms will resume Monday, May 4th usual hours; removed some seating from waiting rooms and will be adding benches outside; recommend calling or making an appointment online, as customers will be limited according to Clay Co. guidelines

Rose Cline Cuts and Colors – reopening Monday, May 4th; appointments only; no walk-ins; sanitation between and during clients; masks for clients and ourselves as well as hand washing.

Samantha’s Salon – reopening Monday, May 4th; please schedule appointments at 816-630-5877

Siloam Springs Baptist Church – will resume Sunday morning worship on May 10th at 10:45am. There will be no child care or Sunday School. They will practice physical distancing and ask all attending to wear a mask. They will resume Wednesday Adult Prayer and Bible Study on May 3 at 7pm.

Style by Ry – reopening Monday, May 4th, by appointment only

Tiger Bowl – opening Wednesday, May 6th at 11am

Ventana Gourmet Grill – reopening Monday, May 4th; curbside still available and order online at ventanagourmetgrill.com

Ziggy’s General Store – store will reopen Wednesday, May 11th; Open 7am-7pm, Wed-Sat, 7am-6pm on Sundays. Self serve station (coffee, lemonade and soft serve ice cream machine) will remain closed. Lunch and breakfast food will be served.
