Trolley Wine Tours (Second Saturday Venues)
Your adventure begins in the unique downtown of Excelsior Springs at Willow Spring Mercantile. Willow Spring Mercantile was opened by Jim and Daphne Bowman in 2005. Willow Spring boasts the state’s largest selection of Missouri Wines, craft beers, and distilled spirits. Enjoy brunch paired with Missouri-made wines in their exquisite wine cellar bistro. Brunch includes made-from-scratch ham and vegetable quiche, spinach salad with fresh berries, and fresh fruit. A chocolate cappuccino brownie is served for dessert.
Shamrock Hills Vineyard & Winery is second up. Nestled in the beautiful Missouri River Valley, Shamrock Hills Vineyard and Winery is a hidden gem on a 323-acre farm. Mike and Denise Riley opened their doors in April 2023, creating a welcoming space for visitors to enjoy great Missouri wines, stunning views, and the warmth of camaraderie. In 2023, Shamrock planted 3,000 vines across 5 acres, adding an additional acre and 600 vines in 1024. While the estate vineyard grows and develops, Shamrock Hills has partnered with Mid-Missouri Vineyards to provide grapes and produce their first couple of vintages. We are excited for you to try their wines and savor the beauty of the land that surrounds the tasting room.
Your final destination is a scenic 20-minute Trolley ride to Van Till Family Farm Winery in Rayville, where warm hospitality and handcrafted wines await. Relax in their picturesque garden setting and explore a variety of wines made from locally grown grapes. Don’t forget to place your order for their renowned wood-fired oven pizza — order sheets will be available on the trolley. (Food not included in ticket price.)
