Elementary Schools
New Student Registration – Students must provide a copy of their birth certificate, 2 verifications of residency, evidence of immunizations, or an exemption from a physician. Immunization requirements vary from grade to grade. Please check with your student’s physician, Clay County Health Department, 781-1601, or consult with the Health Room Staff of your student’s school building.
Teacher Assignments – Elkhorn, Cornerstone, Lewis and Early Childhood Center student’s teacher assignments will be mailed August 16th.
August, 10th 9:00-12:00 PM and 1:00 – 4:00 PM – Any NEW students to the district or kindergarten students who did not pre-enroll should report to their attending school
Cornerstone Elementary

Pictures -Reed Photography will be at the Middle School during enrollment on August 10th and 12th for school pictures.
High School
August 9th & 11th By Appointment – New Student enrollment, call (816)630-9210
August 10th 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – High School open enrollment for all Juniors and Seniors
August 12th 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – High School open enrollment for all Freshmen and Sophomores
August 12th 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Freshman Orientation
August 24th 5:00-6:30 PM – High School Open House for all High School students and families grades 9-12
New Student Registration is a two-step process beginning July 28th. A schedule cannot be completed until records are received from the former school. New students will be contacted when records have been received to set up a time for schedule pick up.
Parking – Students must provide vehicle information, license plate number, proof of insurance, and a current driver’s license to purchase a parking pass. Parking permit is $20.
Pictures – Students please be prepared and dress appropriately for pictures. The photographer will only be available August 10th and August 12th.
Career Center
August 24th 5:00-6:30 PM – Career Center Open House for all Career Center students and families
