Copperhead Boutique and Floristry had their soft opening on Saturday, March 25 during the Sippin’ Into Spring event in Downtown Excelsior Springs. The new boutique is owned by Excelsior Springs native Hannah Hoy, who has a passion for fashion and has operated a location in Lawson for several years.
Hoy said when she and her husband moved onto their rocky homestead near Lawson they received an ominous warning. “Watch out for copperhead snakes,” the seller told them. When launching her boutique brand, Hoy said the name just seemed to be a natural fit. Copperhead Boutique and Floristry offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with unique fashion pieces and beautiful floral arrangements. The grand opening will be held on Friday, March 31st. Hoy said the shop, located at 461 S. Thompson Ave. will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
