Citizen Pet of the Week: Say Hello to Kota B

Say hello to Kota B! (photo Jessica Cornish).

Excelsior Springs, Mo. (Dec. 1, 2024) – Welcome to another edition of Citizen Pet of the Week! This week, we feature a beautiful pitbull named Kota B.

Kota is six years old now, but she met her mom, Mandy, when she rescued her when she was just eight months old. Mandy has been spoiling her ever since!

Kota’s favorite things include eating (people’s food, not dog food), playing with her friends at the dog park, and going on walks. Mandy’s favorite thing about Kota is her personality. She shares how Kota is very funny, and everyone just loves her.

One funny thing about Kota is she loves to swim, take baths, and get into puddles, but she hates the rain. She also enjoys any chance to get dirty!

Mandy shared with the Citizen her passion for bully breed dogs in general, urging people to “not judge a book by its cover.”  She feels bully breeds often get a bad reputation when it really comes down to the owners.

Kota is the biggest sweetheart with such a loving demeanor. Kota also has a lot of friends on Facebook who follow her updates and love seeing what she is getting into next. A big thank you to Kota and Mandy for spreading awareness on bully breeds.

Stay tuned for next week’s Citizen Pet of the Week!
