Citizen Pet of the Week: Karma

Welcome to another edition of Pet of the Week! This week, we’re introducing the tiniest Citizen yet—Karma Allison, who weighs in at just one pound and three ounces and is owned by Lani O’Dell. At only six to seven weeks old, Karma is also the youngest Pet of the Week we’ve had so far!

A huge Swiftie, Lani named Karma after one of Taylor Swift’s infamous songs, “Karma.” Giving her the same middle name as the artist, Allison. However, when she first got her, she called her “Taylor” but decided it didn’t fit her.

Lani describes Karma as “very curious,” noting how she likes to explore on her own. Some of Karma’s favorite things include food (she screams when it is time to eat), the heating pad, and playing. She also loves her fur siblings! Lani’s favorite things about Karma are her little hops and meows. She also loves how Karma already gives her kisses.

Lani shared how she had recently lost her eighteen-year-old cat in October, and he was a black/brown Tabby just like Karma. She feels Rufio, her senior cat she lost, had something to do with Karma coming into her life. She mentions how she “didn’t even hesitate or flinch” but rather just got in her car, brought her home, and then had a new cat!

Thank you, Lani, for sharing Karma with the Citizen. Stay tuned for next week’s edition to meet another adorable Pet of the Week!
