The Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce introduced the latest addition to their growing fleet of touring vehicles. In addition to two “Chamber Trolleys,” they are launching services to allow citizens and visitors to reserve the use of “Star,” a new-to-them 25-passenger shuttle bus. The shuttle bus is fully air-conditioned with plush seating and a smoother ride than the trolleys. Operating year-round, seven days a week, the shuttle bus will be available for bookings at a rate of $150 per hour inside city limits and $160 per hour outside city limits, both with a 2-hour minimum requirement.

In an email to chamber members, chamber officials said they envisioned the shuttle bus will be used for various activities around in and aound the city including:
- Day Trips into Excelsior Springs and surrounding area – wineries/shopping/sightseeing/breweries & distilleries/theatre & entertainment. Will pick up within a 50-mile radius of Excelsior Springs
