Despite video evidence investigators said contradicted her report, a former Excelsior Springs police officer will not face prosecution after Clay County’s top prosecutor dismissed the case this week.
The long-awaited trial of Timothy Haslett Jr. has been postponed again. Originally set for this December, the new court date is October 26, 2026, in Clay County Circuit Court.
