Young Adventurers Explore Excelsior Springs on Sold-Out Trolley Tour

The Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce organized “Kid’s Day Out,” a sold-out trolley tour for a group of children and their families this past Wednesday, August 7th. The event, which started at 11:00 AM and ended at approximately 1:00 PM and featured stops at the police station, fire station, and Dari-B, was a hit from start to finish.

Bookworms Rejoice! MCPL Summer Reading Program Returns

The Mid-Continent Public Library (MCPL) is gearing up for its annual celebration of reading and storytelling with the launch of the 2024 Summer at MCPL program, themed “Telling Tales”. From June 1st through August 24th, families are invited to immerse themselves in the words of literature by dedicating 20 minutes a day to reading or participating in library programs.
