This year, the Crime Commission, which celebrates its 75th anniversary, highlighted impactful programs like SAFE, Second Chance, and Crime Stoppers, as well as its ongoing partnership with QuikTrip, similar to Excelsior’s own alliance.
The event featured F-16 fighter pilot Lt. Col. Dan Rooney as the keynote speaker, a decorated veteran and founder of the Folds of Honor organization, which provides scholarships and financial aid to families of fallen or disabled military veterans and first responders. In Week 8 of the NFL season, Folds of Honor will receive nationwide support through televised ads during games.
