Ameren Missouri has announced funding to help those who are behind or are in need of electrical reconnection. The Clean Slate program allows customers an opportunity to catch up on their past-due energy bills. The program pays 10% of the past-due balance. You could be eligible to apply if you are an active Ameren Missouri electric account that is past due, on a payment agreement, or in need of reconnection. If you have a household income up to 300% of the federal poverty level or a self declared financial hardship, you may also be eligible. Customers who received Clean Slate funding in 2021 are eligible to reapply.
