A Spectacular Start: Excelsior Springs Farmers Market Kickstarts the Summer with Flair!

Excelsior Springs, MO – The highly anticipated Excelsior Springs Farmers Market opened for the first time this year on Wednesday, June 7th (4-7 PM), treating the community to a vibrant showcase of local vendors, delicious food, and a festive atmosphere. Held at the corner of Mill Street and Broadway in downtown Excelsior Springs, the market drew a diverse array of vendors, offering everything from fresh produce and handcrafted goods to delectable treats and delightful experiences.

With over a dozen vendors participating, the Excelsior Springs Farmers Market buzzed with excitement and energy as visitors explored the wide range of offerings. Brett Siemens delighted taste buds with his exquisite honey, while McCall’s Produce provided an abundance of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. Pleasant Valley Petals showcased fresh-cut flowers grown on their mini boutique flower farm, while Angela Heape offered farm-fresh eggs.

Attendees also had the chance to indulge in an array of artisanal products, such as Sugar Creek SoapsLLC’s handcrafted soaps, Tryst Falls Soaps’ luxury soap and body products, and Nikki Kilgore’s creative art pieces. The MU Extension Council provided valuable resources and gave a food preparation demonstration. The market also welcomed Raquelita’s Food Truck, tempting visitors with mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, and Kona Ice, offering refreshing shaved ice treats to beat the heat and humidity.

Adding to the excitement and entertainment, baby goats stole the show as visitors delighted in their playful antics. The market also featured the Bubba Jump Bounce House, providing endless fun for the little ones.

The Excelsior Springs Farmers Market is made possible through the generous support of the Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce and Excelsior Springs Hospital, who serve as the proud sponsors of this community-oriented event. Their dedication to promoting local businesses and healthy living has played a vital role in creating a thriving market that will undoubtedly foster connections while supporting the local economy.

The market will continue to be open every Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, offering a delightful opportunity to explore the best that Excelsior Springs has to offer.
