
A motorcycle crash occurred on Easter Sunday, April 9th, around 2:11 PM in Ray County on Highway A west of Christian Rd. leaving the driver in serious condition. The 78-year-old male driver, Kenneth E. Elliott, was traveling southbound when, according to Missouri Highway Patrol records, his 2005 Honda motorcycle veered off the right side of the road and struck a MoDOT sign. The impact caused the motorcycle to overturn and ejected Elliott. Both Elliott and the motorcycle came to rest in a grassy area off the right side of the roadway. Elliott was transported by LifeFlight Eagle to Truman Medical Center with serious injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A assisted with the incident.
